On September 3, 2026, MOAEYC will celebrate 50 years of incorporation in Missouri.
The “Gold Rush Gala” will be held on March 6, 2026, during the Conference on the Young Years (CYY). Come enjoy an evening of music, door prizes, food, ECE awards, and of course a celebrate of the 50th anniversary of MOAEYC
The 3rd Annual MOAEYC Early Childhood Awards will be presented during the “Gold Rush Gala” on March 6, 2026, at CYY. Nominations were made by peers and selected by a MOAEYC committee.

Missouri Child Advocacy Day – April 2, 2025
On Child Advocacy Day several MOAEYC board members met with Gov. Kehoe, in the MO state Capitol. They answered questions and shared concerns about early childcare and education across the state and accepted a Week of the Young Child Proclamation.

NAEYC Public Policy Forum -Feb 2025
A team of board members and other community leaders from across MO, participate in the 2025 NAEYC Public Policy Forum. While there they gained tips and insight into the workings of the government, and also met with several representatives from MO.

ECE Awards – March 2025
Six outstanding early childhood professionals were recognized at the 2nd annual ECE Awards Ceremony as a part of the “Mardi Gras Bash” celebration at CYY

Dr. Walter Gilliam -Training and Reception- Oct 2024
MOAEYC sponsored a reception at the home of Dr. Kathy Thornburg for Dr. Walter Gilliam, in Columbia, and a 2-hour training with him the following day.
